Here is a link to Ural Motorcycles. At the end of WW2 the Russians took manufacturing equipment and supplies from Germany back to Russia. Some it included BMW motorcycle technology from the bikes used by the German Army. Those basic patterns Russians used have not changed much over the years. Today they are Ural Motorcycles.
