This isnt a real film, its just pure music promotion with a little bit of story. tell me, if you were to watch this "meaningful" "film" WITHOUT the music, would you love it just as much? hell no you wouldnt. "hey what are you listening to" "the shins, you gotta listen to them itll change your life forever" i couldnt help but laugh, i really hope people look through the film and see what it really is. "OHH but the music is like totally good, and i feel so special for liking the movie, cuz its soooo inddie. and im coool for liking it, teeehehehehehee, join my indie club, tehehehhehehe" oh shutup. after this film came out, everyone told their friends to see it, "OH DUDE, YOU GOTTA CHECK THIS MOVIE OUT DUDE, *beep* YEAH DUDE, THIS IS LIKE, THE *beep* BEST MOVIE EVER MADE%26lt; ITS *beep* AWSSSOMME YAHHHH"

Where can I purchase Western Toads( native to my state and county) for my garden?
hello! I live in Long Beach, Calif., and am looking to use toads as an alternative way of dealing with a slug infestation. I understand it is irresponsible and illegal to release non native species to out area. I would like to purchase Western toads, but can't find a provider. can anyone help? Thanks, Daniel

Best answer might be to start hunting toads in local parks or other likely habitat. Release them on your property, and as long as there is an abundant food supply, they should stay around. Several adults will breed and you will soon have plenty of toads.

Yes, it's a very good thing. She's quirky and spontaneous and the main character falls head over heels for her (as do all the viewers.) That is a wonderful compliment- now watch the movie, it's wonderful especially the song she plays for him.

Its a really good movie. Classify it as a romantic comedy. Quirky humor is what Zach Braff (the lead actor) does best. If you like Scrubs you like this. The music btw is down right awesome.
Reply:when i saw the promo of it with the let go song on tv i was like wow i gotta watch this movie....i brought it, but then was like dang how could they even think of making it.
honestly speaking, the story doesnt focus on anything at all.....n is not at all logical... it basically revolves around a quiet/polite struggling actor of hollywood who goes back to nj to attend his mom's funeral. n from that time on he keeps coming across all his childhood buddies....some became trash n some became rich n professionals like police officer..... why it was not logical? cuz it showed that the guy had to work as a waiter in la to support himself....moreover, he had to wear makeup to look like asian so to work at the vietnamese restaurent (i dont think california lacks part time jobs like that, come on i live here!)......but in nj he was the son of a very very rich jewish man.
it started out lazy n suddenly picked up...i mean the movie is full of chats n chats......it was like sitting at a restaurent all alone to hear how others' lives were going....
its better if u watch ladykillers....the best tom hanks movie ever! u wont be able to stop yourself from laughing.

Hamster wheel in Garden State?
OK, so Garden State is recently one of my favorite movies. I saw it a few years ago and watched it again recently and really liked it... great movie. But how, may I ask, does a hamster die because someone forgot to take out a hamster wheel from a cage? This is one of the things from the movie I just don't get. Can anyone explain this to me?

It's been that way forever, and they don't want it to change. New Jersey passed the law making it illegal to pump your own gas in 1949. At the time, legislators felt it was too dangerous to have untrained people dispensing such a flammable liquid.
The last time they tried to allow self serve, there was a revolt. (Check out the link.) People in NJ love their full service, and it provides a few extra jobs.

Well I can't speak for the rest of California, but if you want beautiful landscape and great gardening year around, look no farther then SAN DIEGO Ca. AMERICA's FINEST CITY. Second largest city in California (bet you thought San Fran was # 2?) Home of the world's most popular zoo, Sea World, Lego Land %26amp; Balabo Park.
San Diego's perfect climate housed animial no other zoo could at the time. The Kola Bear, China's Panda, etc. It is said the easist job in the world is the weatherman in San Diego. (it's tru too) 365 days a year you will find flowers in bloom, %26amp; folks puttering in their garden. We are so used to the great weather, we had a problem as to when to hold the county fair? We flipped a coin %26amp; our fair starts in June %26amp; runs thru the 4th of July. To bad San Diego isn't a state of it's own, because it is a state of mind. No snow storms, toranados, tropical storms, humidity or mosquitoes. I love cutting fresh flowers from my garden on Christmas day. You would love it too.

Don't understand the crashing plane in garden state beginning?
in the very beginning of garden state, I don't understand the crashing plane and how it ties in with the rest of the movie.
was that the plane he went on to see his mom's funeral? and if it was a crashing plane, how did he survive? help me understand this confusing plart please!

I've wondered the same thing, my first guess was that it's the plane he's on at the very end (remember he goes back to Sam, and maybe he changed his mind and got back on the plane). But that couldn't be because if you look around at the people he's sitting next too it doesn't match up. So I think it's simply a daydream or an illustration as to how he feels. All around him people have emotions but he is apathetic; he dosn't care. The intro with the plane crash illustrates this in a powerful way, even admist the most horrific thing in the world, he remains numb. Throughout the movie he progresses in his ability to feel emotions like everyone else, partially thanks to Sam, partially from stopping his medications.

Anyone driving on the Garden State Parkway get ticketed by mistake?
3 people in my family all have gotten ticketed in the same toll and paid each toll. The paper says "RAS" when it says at which toll. Does anyone know which toll this is? Has anyone had a similar experience? Thanks for the help in advance! :)

I never got a moving violation there, but i once got an ezpass violation at that plaza. For some reason my ezpass tag did not register, and they sent me a fine in the mail.

( tomatoes, eggplants, etc.) for you, the best would be a combination of easy growers and herbs to use. small individual pots for rosemary, basil, thyme, oregano. a good sized 6-9 inches deep pot with a 10 inch round top is good for cherry tomatoes, and also using the similar pot you can plant 6-7 bulbs of tulips or daffodils. if your have the space. make sure you first define a spot for vegetables and for decorative. then go to your local nursery and they will give expert advice for which plant you should get. tell them what your lifestyle is and how much time you want to spend outside. best time to plant is spring, soil needs to be augmented if poorly draining, potting soil is for pots only. fertilizer use is simple. first number is for leaf growth, middle number is for flower and fruit, last number is for roots. use general purpose of any brand it's the same but get a high middle number to make the palnt bear more fruit or flower. granulated is ok and more economical, liquid is best but very very expensive. it's more important to make sure that the soil is prepped and ready to plant. spray some liquid detergent, astingent mouthwash mixed with water, coke and beer. on the soil to kill pest, molds and bacteria and feed the soil.

This nickname seems to have originated at the Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia on Jersey Day, August 24, 1876. Alfred M. Heston states in his 1926 work, Jersey Waggon Jaunts, that "The Garden State" was used by Abraham Browning, of Camden. "In his address Mr. Browning compared New Jersey to an immense barrel, filled with good things to eat and open at both ends, with Pennsylvanians grabbing from one end and the New Yorkers from the other. He called New Jersey the Garden State, and the name has clung to it ever since."
