How good is Garden State?

Reply:It's good, but it didn't deserve the massive amounts of hype that filled college campuses the year it came out. I saw it twice and enjoyed it better the second time around. Natalie Portman does a pretty good job with the "immature girl nextdoor who's starting to grapple with life issue" role. Zach Braff does a decent job, though his character seems a little stiff. Also he doesn't seem to interact much with the other characters. Peter Sarsgaard delivers the best performance, which isn't too big a surprise.
