What do you wear to a Garden Wedding?

What do you wear to an outside garden wedding? As a female, do I wear a dress or a pantsuit? The wedding is for a cousin, on April 5th, at 7 p.m., at Callaway Gardens in the state of Georgia What do you think would be appropriate?

Reply:Sundress (knee or tea length) as long as it is a semi casual affair. Something nice and bright. If it is black tie that's a whole different story.





Maybe a shawl in case it gets chilly at night.
Reply:A sundress or a cocktail dress. Either would be appropriate - the sundress because it is a garden setting, the cocktail because it is evening but outdoors. I wouldn't wear a full-length dress for an outdoor reception. A casual pantsuit would be fine %26amp; warm...but I'm personally not into that (perhaps you are older than me though...I'm in my 20s). I would take a wrap in case it gets cool in the evening.
