Anyone ever watched Garden State? (the movie)?
When I watched it for the first time, someone described it as being "about nothing, and about everything."





It's profound, and it's beautiful. I give it a 10.

A truly gorgeous movie.
Reply:I thought Garden State was a great film. It ranks very high on my all-time favorites. I thought Natalie Portman was absolutely lovable in it. I love her free spirit. She reminds me of myself actually. I want to do things that Ive never done before in my life and embrace everyday in the way she does in the movie. She doesnt care what anyone thinks of her, she just is who she is. I know shes just a character. But her spirit represent so much to me. I feel like the love the two characters share was unbreakable, and it means alot for someone to give up everything they are shooting for to be with a person that puts them on cloud nine just being in their presence. I want a love like that. Garden State definatelly get my stamp of approval, I recommend it to everyone.

Id say it would attract more of a college scene.

Reply:It was a bit slow and shadowy. I would have liked a little more intimacy and a little less crazy to make the story better. Try watching "Interstate" to see what I mean.
